Dholera, Gujarat, India:
The industrial development roadmap of Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) has entered a new phase as authorities expand the industrial land allotment pipeline in early 2026 to meet growing investor demand.

According to officials, several new land parcels across designated industrial zones have been made available for allocation. These plots are strategically located near core infrastructure such as arterial roads, power substations, water treatment facilities, and logistics corridors, ensuring faster project execution for incoming industries.

The expanded land offering is expected to benefit sectors including electronics manufacturing, engineering goods, renewable energy equipment, warehousing, and ancillary units supporting large anchor industries. Officials stated that the land allocation process will follow a structured and transparent mechanism, with priority given to projects aligned with Dholera’s industrial master plan.

With the activation zone nearing operational readiness, authorities aim to ensure sufficient land availability for early movers while maintaining long-term planning discipline. Infrastructure support such as reliable power supply, industrial water access, and smart city services is being integrated alongside land allotment to provide a plug-and-play environment.

Industry observers note that the expansion of the land allotment pipeline reflects increasing confidence among domestic and international investors in Dholera SIR’s infrastructure-led growth model. The move is expected to accelerate industrial investments and generate employment opportunities in the region over the coming years.
