Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) is drawing increased attention from global logistics and supply chain companies exploring opportunities for warehousing and cold storage development in the region.

Industry sources indicate that several international and domestic logistics firms have begun assessing land parcels and infrastructure readiness in Dholera, particularly along major expressway corridors and near the upcoming Dholera International Airport. This connectivity advantage is positioning Dholera as a strategic logistics hub for western India.

The proposed warehousing and cold storage facilities are expected to support industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, electronics, and export-oriented manufacturing units operating in and around Dholera SIR. Temperature-controlled logistics infrastructure will play a key role in strengthening supply chain efficiency.

Officials stated that Dholera’s planned infrastructure, including wide road networks, reliable power supply, water systems, and plug-and-play industrial zones, is aligned with global logistics requirements. The region’s multimodal connectivity is expected to reduce transportation time and logistics costs.

Experts believe that growing interest from logistics players will accelerate the development of integrated logistics parks, further supporting industrial growth and exports from Dholera.
