Dholera International Airport Company Limited (DIACL), the company developing Dholera International Airport in Gujarat, has invited applications for the post of Company Secretary at two levels: E3 (Executive) and E4 (Senior Executive). Applications must be submitted in hard copy and must reach the company’s office in Gandhinagar by 5:00 pm on October 17, 2026. Applications that arrive after the deadline will not be considered.

DIACL is a joint venture of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the Government of Gujarat and the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT). It was incorporated in 2012 as a special purpose vehicle to develop the greenfield airport in the Dholera Special Investment Region. The recruitment comes as the airport moves towards operations. Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has said that about 80 per cent of the work is complete, with operations targeted around September–October 2026, subject to completion of the remaining work and regulatory approvals.

According to details of the notification, candidates must be members of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The E3 post requires at least five years of post-qualification experience, and the E4 post requires at least eight years. The upper age limit is 35 years as on September 30, 2026. Candidates with an additional qualification such as LLB, CA, ICWA or an MBA in Finance, or with experience as a Company Secretary in a government organisation, will be preferred. The number of vacancies has not been specified.

The posts carry a consolidated monthly salary of ₹60,000 at the E3 level and ₹70,000 at the E4 level, with an annual increment of 3 per cent, or higher based on performance appraisal. The engagement is on a contract basis. The initial agreement runs for one year from the date of appointment, and any extension requires mutual agreement between the candidate and the company. The notification states that the contract does not create any right to extension or absorption into DIACL. Performance will be reviewed every quarter, and a selected candidate must accept the offer within 15 days of receiving it.

The role covers the company’s corporate secretarial and compliance functions. Responsibilities include preparing agendas, minutes and resolutions for board and general meetings, following up on decisions, handling filings with the Registrar of Companies and maintaining statutory registers. The Company Secretary will also coordinate with the three shareholders, namely AAI, the Government of Gujarat and NICDIT, on shareholder matters. Other duties include supporting the drafting and review of legal documents, coordinating secretarial audits and tracking regulatory changes. Candidates are expected to be familiar with the Companies Act and the functions of a Company Secretary under Section 205 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Applications must be sent in the prescribed format by post or courier to The Managing Director, Dholera International Airport Company Ltd., 3rd Floor, A2 Wing, Block-1, Karmayogi Bhavan, Sector-10A, Gandhinagar-382010. Self-attested copies of qualification and experience certificates must be enclosed. The application form is available with the recruitment advertisement on the DIACL section of the official Dholera SIR website.

Selection will be based on an interview followed by document verification. Shortlisted candidates will receive the interview venue, date and time by email, so applicants should provide an email address they check regularly. Candidates must bring original documents for verification and bear their own travel expenses for the interview. DIACL has reserved the right to cancel the recruitment at any stage without assigning a reason. Any attempt to influence the process, or any false or concealed information, may lead to disqualification.

With fewer than five days left before the deadline, candidates are advised to read the complete official notification before applying, as it is the final reference for eligibility, documents and the application format.
