Adani–Embraer Aircraft Assembly Line Proposed for Dholera Smart City
Dholera Smart City is gaining attention as the proposed location for an aircraft assembly line by Adani Group and Brazil’s Embraer. The project could strengthen Dholera’s position as an advanced manufacturing hub and support India’s growing aviation manufacturing ecosystem.
Dholera Smart City has received another major industrial boost as Adani Group and Brazilian aerospace company Embraer are reportedly planning an aircraft assembly line in Dholera, Gujarat.
According to reports, Dholera has been selected as the proposed site for the final assembly line of Embraer regional aircraft. The project is expected to support India’s aviation manufacturing sector and promote local aircraft production under the Make in India vision.
Dholera Special Investment Region is already being developed as a major industrial and smart city destination with planned infrastructure, large land parcels, expressway connectivity, upcoming airport access and strong policy support. These factors make Dholera suitable for large-scale aerospace and advanced manufacturing projects.
The proposed Adani–Embraer aircraft assembly facility could also create new opportunities for skilled employment, engineering services, component manufacturing and aviation-related supply chains in Gujarat.
This development further strengthens Dholera’s image as a future-ready industrial hub, especially in sectors like semiconductors, renewable energy, logistics, aerospace and high-tech manufacturing.
